Take any course risk-free
Univada's Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied, so all eligible courses purchased on Univada can be refunded within 30 days, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy.
At a glance —Most web purchases qualify for a full cash refund within 30 days. Apple Pay (iOS) in-app purchases are eligible for Univada credits under our policy; cash refunds for those go through Apple. Subscriptions and coaching follow separate rules below.
- 30-day window
From the date of purchase, on eligible courses.
- Refunded to original method
Card refunds settle in 5–10 business days.
- No hidden fees
We refund the full price you paid, taxes included.
- Fraud-aware
Limits apply on abuse and repeat refunds — see below.
Certain restrictions may apply and some purchases may only be eligible for refunds in the form of credits. For more information regarding our refund policy, please see below.
How to submit a refund request
Open the course from your My Learning page, choose Request a refund on the course header, pick a reason (optional), and submit. Your enrollment ends immediately and your refund is queued.
Refund status
Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. For questions about a refund in progress, contact support@univada.com.
Our 30-day policy
While our 30-day refund policy is to allow students to learn risk free, we must also protect our instructors from fraud and provide them a reasonable payment schedule. Payments are sent to instructors after 30 days, so we will not process refund requests received after the refund window.
Additional reasons for denied refunds
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit or deny refund requests in cases where we believe there is refund abuse, including but not limited to the following:
- A notable amount of the course has been consumed or downloaded by a student before the refund was requested.
- Multiple refunds have been requested by a student for the same course.
- Excessive refunds have been requested by a student.
- Users who have their account reported, banned or course access disabled due to a violation of our Terms or Trust & Safety Guidelines.
- A refund has already been granted by a third party, such as one of Univada's third-party payment processors.
- We do not grant refunds for any subscriptions or coaching services unless otherwise required by applicable law (please see below for more information).
These refund restrictions will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Credit refunds
In cases where a transaction is not eligible for a cash refund, we exercise our discretion to not provide a cash refund, or if you select to receive your refund in the form of Univada credits, the refund will be granted in the form of Univada credits, provided it otherwise meets our 30-day refund policy. These credits are issued by and are solely an obligation of Univada, and are subject to our Terms.
If your course purchase is only eligible for a credit refund, this will be indicated on the refund page.
Accepted payment methods
Univada currently accepts two payment methods: credit and debit cards and Apple Pay (iOS). Refund eligibility depends on which method you used at checkout.
Types of purchases that are only eligible for credit refunds
iOS (Apple Pay in-app purchases): In-app purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and not Univada, and so we are unable to offer cash refunds for these purchases. They are only eligible for refunds in the form of Univada credits under our 30-day policy. For a cash refund, you must contact Apple directly and follow Apple's refund policy.
Credit and debit cards: Courses purchased with a credit or debit card on the web are eligible for a full cash refund to the original card within 30 days, subject to the conditions above.
Univada credits: Purchases made using Univada credits are refunded back to your Univada credit balance only, and are not eligible for a cash refund.
Refunds for subscription plans purchased through Univada.com
Univada's subscription plans purchased through Univada.com do not offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, and no refunds or partial refunds are available unless otherwise required by applicable law.
If you're enrolled in a subscription via a free trial promotion, you can cancel the free trial at any time, without being charged. Depending on where you're located, you may be entitled to a refund. We determine your location based on the country associated with your account.
Refunds for subscription plans purchased through the iOS (Apple) mobile app
Payments for subscription enrollments through the iOS mobile app are processed through Apple and not Univada. Accordingly, we are unable to process refund requests for these in-app purchases or answer questions regarding Apple's refund policies. Please contact Apple directly regarding refund inquiries for these in-app purchases.
Refunds for bundles purchased through a third party
Since the payment for the bundle was processed by the third-party vendor, we do not have the transaction on file and cannot initiate a refund for you. Please contact the third-party vendor directly to request a refund.
Refunds for coaching services
All purchases of coaching services are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-exchangeable, except as explicitly stated in this section or as required by applicable law.
You may cancel for a full refund until 48 hours before a booked session. If you cancel less than 48 hours before a booked session, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If an instructor cancels or fails to attend a booked session, you will receive a full refund. However, if you fail to attend a scheduled session, you will not be eligible for a refund. Attendance is determined by Univada in its sole discretion. Please visit our Terms of Use to learn more.
Refunds for courses enrolled in through a third-party sale or promotion
If you enrolled in a course through a third-party sale or promotion on their platform/site (for example: a company is selling or giving away Univada courses), please contact the third party directly to request a refund. Univada does not have access to the necessary information to review or process these refund requests.
Instructor payouts
When a refund is issued, the instructor's earnings for that purchase are reversed in their next payout cycle. Instructors keep visibility of all refunds in their Earnings dashboard.
