About Univada
We built the marketplace we wished existed when we were learning.
Most online learning is a race to the bottom — cheaper, shorter, flashier. Univada is the opposite bet. We pay instructors well, we vet every course, and we let the work speak.
What we believe
The best teachers are people who still do the work. Not influencers, not coaches whose only skill is selling coaching. We seek out engineers, designers, founders, photographers, and producers who ship on Monday morning and teach on Saturday afternoon.
Time is the most valuable thing a learner spends. We'd rather you finish a great six-hour course than abandon a forty-hour one. We optimize for the former.
How it works
Every instructor applies. We review the application, the portfolio, and a short teaching sample. About one in eight applicants is accepted. After that, instructors keep 70% of revenue — significantly more than the industry standard.
Learners get lifetime access to every course they buy, can refund within 30 days, and can ask the instructor questions directly. No tricks.
Where we're going
We started with six categories. We'll add new ones when we find instructors worth featuring in them — not before. Slower than the competition. On purpose.
