What it's like to work here
Univada is a remote-first company with team members across East Africa, Europe, and North America. We operate on async-by-default communication, ship in small batches, and keep meetings rare and intentional. Every team has clear quarterly outcomes and the autonomy to decide how to reach them.
How we hire
- Application review — we read every email within five business days.
- Intro call with a hiring manager (30 minutes, conversational).
- Paid work sample — a small, realistic task representative of the role. We pay for your time.
- Team interviews with two to three future colleagues.
- Reference conversations and an offer.
We share interview questions in advance, and you can opt out of any step you find unhelpful.
Where we hire
Our headquarters are in Eldoret, Kenya, and we hire across most of the world where we can legally employ or contract. We pay one global rate per role, anchored to a senior major-market benchmark, so your compensation does not depend on the cost of living where you happen to be.
